Kosh-Agach is located in the Altai Republic. Founded by Russian merchants in 1820 for trade with the surrounding countries. It was the last Russian city on the way to Mongolia and China, in 1880 some time been part of China. At the moment, the main population of the city are still the same and the Kazakhs are bred camels.
