Bullfights in South Korea
I propose to look at photos from the Korean Festival "Bullfighting».
According to legend, invented bullfights shepherds, for their own amusement forcing strong animals fight each other. Bulls are divided into three weight categories and special trainers teach their wards methods of struggle.
Bullfights prohibited during the period of Japanese rule in Korea, were resumed in 1945, and in 1999 the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has recognized the "bullish" festivals one of 10 major cultural events. Every year in Cheongdam, where the festival is held, attended by over 200,000 tourists from different countries to enjoy the unusual spectacle.
