Non-standard logical problems in pictures that require inhuman attention

School pictures for children, that is, for students of junior grades, can also puzzle an adult. I remember more than one case from my own experience, when children's tasks became an occasion for an unexpected conversation.

Once the granddaughter-second-grader solved the problem of two snails: Between two snails, the distance is 20 centimeters. What would it be like if, moving in opposite directions from each other, one crawls 18 centimeters and the other 23? Then there was a picture that the granddaughter wanted to redraw.

The answer was found very quickly. But I see that our girl is sad and not moving on to the next task. I wonder what I'm thinking. She answered with a question, as if she had lived in Odessa for a long time:
- Are snails friends?
- It is unlikely that animals of this level are endowed with the ability to be friends.

She doesn't stop.
- And if this one is a father and this one is a son, can they miss it?
I'm pretty sure that if the snails in the picture in the textbook hadn't smiled, then that day the baby would hardly have let us know that she misses her father.

Often school pictures for children offer to solve non-standard logical problems that require remarkable attention and very fast perception. Like this one:

Test yourself? Then look carefully and then write down your answer. You have 30 seconds to think about it. Do you remember how in childhood, a mop easily, without tricks, turned into a horse, chamomile flowers into eggs on a toy pan? And huge burdocks became mammoths: you put on a spitting branch - and "fry" dinner for a whole tribe over an imaginary fire in the middle of the "cave", that is, the beating of the yard, which the cave past did not prevent the next day from becoming a castle, palace, ship ...

Exuberant children's imagination easily finishes the missing details. Give him an idea, an image - then we will figure out what we did not depict. Apparently, because the illustrations for children a lot of conventions, metaphors.

Not always clear school pictures for children

And adults often due to meticulous analysis may not understand the logic of the task. So set a timer and get started. The time has come, you write down the answer. The above picture was considered by the audience of adults. About 350 people answered the question in writing. The most frequent response was that there is no rain (the sun shines, since the bus casts a shadow; there are no drops on the puddles; the bus is too clean), and the lady under the umbrella.

Then many noted the lack of mirrors, registration number, the fact that the woman goes to the route car, despite the closed doors to the cabin. Someone wrote that wearing a purse tone shoes is no longer fashionable, and an umbrella should not be blue, but pink, like a cloak. They wrote that in public transport windows do not tint, that in the driver's cabin there is some strange window with a window sill. There was a debate about janitors, whether they were hidden by designers or absent.

Is there a route 825 or not? Of course, this is a joke, as well as the fact that the driver for some reason does not speak on the phone or listen to chanson. It was even noted that he had only one eyebrow. What if the guy was so surprised that the eyebrow disappeared under the hairstyle? And is it not possible that the picture was not deliberately overloaded with details, so as not to distract the attention of the child? .

And only two (!) replied that the bus and the trolley should pass in front of them (after all, closed doors and an unopened umbrella suggest that the woman does not intend to enter the bus, but wants to cross the road in front of him, which is dangerous).

And that: the picture of the school, therefore, concerns some school subject. And children in junior grades are taught the rules of the road for pedestrians. It turns out that relatively fewer people use public transport than their own cars, since so few significant signs were identified when they answered what was wrong in the picture.

However, if you want to keep your brain in good shape, here are school pictures for children 9-11 years old and their logical task:

There are four friends: Pasha, Sasha, Peter and Nikita. Everyone has a passion. One of them is a musician, the other is seriously engaged in weightlifting, the third writes poetry, and the fourth successfully plays chess. But it is not yet known who exactly has a soul. You will be able to find out their passions, guided by what they know about the guys.

Sasha and the poet played football with a weightlifter today. And yesterday the weightlifter and Pasha were at a concert with the participation of the musician. The poet has already composed poems about Nikita, and now he writes a poem message to Pasha. Identify everyone's passion. It will tell you the truth tablet. It is easier to exclude what is already known from the problem. Place names horizontally, and hobbies vertically. Use either + and - or just "yes" and "no". It is clear that Pasha is not a musician or a weightlifter. Continue to exclude known data.

Such tasks are not only fascinating, but also train the mind. Success!

If you think we've already said good-bye and forgotten about the answer, don't worry. It’s just not easy to open the cards right away. Hopefully you already know the answer and just want to check it out. So, Nikita is fond of weightlifting, Pavel is an avid chess player, Peter is a poet, and Sasha does not imagine her life without music. Share your successes with us in the comments.
