When is the Day of Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir celebrated and how to hold it correctly
On July 28, Orthodox believers celebrate the day of Prince Vladimir. The name of the prince is associated with a great event – the Baptism of Russia, which took place in 988. Historians call Vladimir the Great, the church calls him a saint equal to the apostles, and the people called him Vladimir the Red Sun.
