An impressive selection of hyperrealistic animals

As a child, we all used to sculpt cakes from everything that came our way. Snow and even mud came into play, too. And what is not the material for the creation of young talent? Let's just accelerate a little! So, it turns out that a Spanish artist, already in adulthood, continues to do something similar. His hyper-realistic animal sculpture The sand is just fascinating.

Piabay Andoni Bastarric never thought sand would ever attract him so much. His creative career began with a harmless hobby: he simply entertained children on the beach by creating standard sand castles. But then he decided to try something more difficult for himself, and he succeeded. And when he learned that sand can also be processed, the muse inspired the creator to a whole selection of themed sculptures.

For his materials, he takes only natural materials. The base, of course, is sand. But there are also paints (only natural) and glue. It is also specially selected so as not to contaminate sea water. Although along with all this it is clear that the life of such a sculpture is as short-lived as possible, people like this work: they are happy to be photographed against its background.

In some sculptures, the artist also uses garbage collected on the beach. This idea encourages people to pay attention to the fact that even on well-groomed beaches sometimes it is too dirty. And it's all on the conscience of us humans. Naturally, after a few days, all the “props” go straight to the landfill.

Over time, the man came to one simple conclusion: social networks and activists can also help solve the problem of mass pollution. Therefore, as a comment on his work, he encourages people to send at least minimal funds to support activists who are engaged in cleanliness on the seashore. For himself, he requires absolutely nothing: materials cost a penny, and the creative process is very pleasant to him.

Also, the artist recommends many people to sculpt their masterpieces from wet sand. This activity is very soothing and makes you think about something peaceful. The process itself is quite exciting and slow, suits everyone from small to large. And it is also useful because it develops fine motor skills. For older people, maintaining this function can be very important.

We think his work conveys the mood very well. On the one hand, this is a great reason to remember that humans are not the only living organisms in this world. And always take a moment to think about our little brothers. We don’t see them most of the time because they live underwater.

But Andoni is also a really talented person, so just look at some of his work you can just as a leisure. And why not, routine and life problems are sometimes sucked no weaker than the deepest bottom of the Mariana Trench.
