The CityHawk flying car is currently being developed in North Carolina. It is small in size and its design uses patented technology Fancraft.
Fancraft technology helps to place the blades in a unique way, not on top of the car, like a helicopter, but on the bottom, under the hood and trunk, and people with this design are placed between the rotors and above them. This technology allows the car to take off and land even in narrow alleys, where ordinary blades would break, respectively, increases the maneuverability of the car.
CityHawk will be capable of carrying up to four passengers and will be manned, although it will have a fairly high degree of autonomy.
At first, CityHawk will be powered by jet fuel, however, in the near future it will be possible to transfer the flying machine to hydrogen fuel. You can even use a system in which hydrogen is fed directly into a specially designed turboshaft engine, eliminating the need for fuel cells and electric motors to make the weight of the machine lighter.
The safety system for this car is also provided, if the car stalls, then a huge parachute will unfold over it and help land safely on the ground.
CityHawk’s market launch will take at least 5 years.
P.S. And remember, just changing our consumption – together we change the world!
