Festival in the style of Mad max "Wasteland»

In Wasteland (translated from English.: Heath) chaos is the norm, because it is "the world's largest post-apocalyptic festival", which transforms for a short period of the Mojave desert in a real hell on earth. For four days every September, thousands of survivors looting in the Sands East of Bakersfield, California, driving around in crazy costumes on not less crazy car-the car language does not turn to call, spreading fear and terror in these places.

Wasteland combines the best of "Mad max," "Fallout" and "dune", with a fairly simple legend: the decline of civilization left on the scorched and dead planet is insignificant groups of people who are trying to survive all sorts of ways — some cut and kill, those who are unable to defend themselves, others are trying to protect…

This time the event under their flags was able to collect a huge number of participants is 2500 — this is the highest number in seven years of the festival. Crazy chases, fights, drinking and partying settles here at least for a short period, but with the atmosphere of the real End of the world.

A little bit can feel and see everything that happens there, you can, if you view a small selection of pictures from the festival, which, incidentally, were taken by the photographer Todd Scheele (Tod Seelie):
