Spanish pavilion of the secondary use of natural materials in the Netherlands





Spanish architectural Studio Pulgon diseño have designed the pavilion for the exhibition Floriade 2012 held in Venlo (Netherlands). Drawing attention, bright exhibition demonstrates the diversity and richness of natural organic materials, which are used again, saving the planet's resources.





The pavilion aims to promote the concept of sustainable development of construction and design. The architecture of the building creates a continuous exhibition space that integrates all available surface.





Structure arises literally from the ground, rising up to invite visitors into the inner space of the exhibition.





Among the natural materials, the exhibition demonstrates the great variety of materials and coatings of the products secondary use: wood from used boxes, different planks, beams and sleepers, walnut shell and other residues of the agricultural industry, as well as obsolete items.
