The forest in the shape of a guitar

Located in the fertile agricultural area of Argentina, this forest-shaped guitar is made up of more than 7,000 cypress and eucalyptus trees. Forest more than a kilometer very visible for passing planes and even satellites. While its size is very impressive, no less impressive and his story.

The forest in the form of the guitar was planted by a farmer named Pedro Martin Ureta, who is now 71 years old. He and his four children personally planted each tree several decades ago. The inspiration came from Pedro's wife, Graciela Irises that flying a plane over the area spotted the farm. By happy coincidence, this farm reminded her of the shape of the bucket for milking.

Graciela decided that they need to do on the farm giant guitar, as she has always loved this tool. Some time later, in 1977, she suddenly fainted. It turned out that the aneurysm ruptured, and soon after that she died while being pregnant and never giving birth to a fifth child.

After a few years, Pedro decided to fulfill the wish of his late wife and to create a forest in the shape of a guitar, which she always dreamed of. Together with the children, he planted over 7,000 trees, cypresses and eucalyptus trees.

He Utrata admitted that he had seen a guitar just for the pictures, as an accident in his childhood forever instilled in him a fear of flying.
