"Floating Forest"
This device can be called: "Floating Forest", which is made of two boats and of the Botanical garden installed on them.
Floating Forest combines the refreshing softness of the grass with the calming movement of water. The design essentially consists of two Botanical water vessels, which unite into a single whole, creating a floating structure on which to conduct tours for tourists, just to swim, enjoying nature, and even throw a little party with friends.
Creatively designed by Pablo Milroy, Friedrich Pictomap and Alex Howe, the two rafts are Floating Forest Hall with the roots and clearing for rest. Hall of the Root shows a sculpted landscape on top of two canoes, while glade — furnished island, which is controlled by a motor situated within the housing.
Designed by Thomas Lindner of the Kindest Group as a future way of leisurely travel, the Floating Forest was definitely created to promote the local tourism industry during the Olympic Games in 2012. A floating marvel of engineering was represented at the festival, Hackney Wicked and will ply along the waterways of East London.
