The Volkswagen Expand concept superuniversal vehicle, which offers not one, but two functional transport space, making it a great means of transportation around the city.









The first is an extensible cabin which can accommodate one or two extra passengers or provides extra space for Luggage. In the compact state the length of the car is 2320 mm with a wheelbase of 1510 mm, and the extended – 2350 mm wheelbase 1540 mm respectively While the height of evermobile standard is 1500 mm. That is exactly the case when the value becomes literally every inch.

The second vehicle contained in this incredible design, is a removable front wheels that can act as mobility AIDS using a complex system of gyroscopic sensors similar to the one used in the self-balancing Segway.





That is, if you are stuck in traffic and it is very much in a hurry, simply "detach" the wheels from your car and drive to them. An additional advantage of this solution is that you can be sure that your car is no steal will not.

The designer of this project Louise Antonelli (Antonelli Luiz) was able to achieve such versatility and flexibility by integrating engine and battery directly in a car. This standard solution makes this car all-in-one perfect mode of transportation through the urban jungle.





This project car-ideal for use by single people or married couples of 18-30 years old, received a second place award in Talento Volkswagen Design 2012, presenting its author as a prize a one-year internship at Volkswagen in Brazil and a trip to the auto show in Frankfurt. Well, rightfully so, because thanks to this concept in the city there will be places where you are unable to get to the car (well, or at least on the wheel from him).
