Will we ever live forever?

Recently, scientists have discovered human genes that are associated with the aging process, they also identified a way to extend the life of rats by almost 2 times. Some experts say that the person who will live to 1,000 years has already been born. So if we have a chance to live forever? Unfortunately, until now all attempts to defeat death or at least delay it, was unattainable.

Around the world you can observe how scientists are trying to develop an elixir of youth. This is their most cherished goal in medicine.

A very interesting achievement, which occurred in 2010, when scientists from Harvard University were able to reverse some processes of aging in mice. It was an incredible results. It was possible to prevent infertility and diseases of the brain.

In 2012, experts from the University of Pittsburgh made the discovery, by injection of the stem cells, they were able to continue the life of the mice 3 times.

According to many scientists, in the near future there will be drugs and therapies able to delay the beginning of aging process. There are also followers that mankind has reached the stage where people will be able to live the Millennium.

Dr. Aubrey de grey (Aubrey de Grey) is a British gerontologist believes that the development of regenerative medicine, which works against aging in the next 20-25 years will achieve what, people will have a 50 percent chance to live for a Millennium.

Over the past few decades, there have been many advances in the field of regenerative medicine, this means the molecular and cellular restoration of organs.

But whether people want to actually live forever?
