One of the most amazing creatures on earth is found in the rainforests of South America is a glass butterfly Greta OTO.
One glance and immediately understand why this wondrous creation has a name — lush and really nice butterfly wings, in addition to reddish, brown or black edging on the edges, completely transparent.
This is what makes the butterfly special and so unique. While it's flying, it seems that it simply hovers in the air. Glass butterfly belongs to the family nymphalidae. The reason is transparent wings — a lack of color pigments that need to paint the wings of an insect. But that's what made it so interesting and demanding.
