What sounds like the plants?

Already very scientists understand that plants have intelligence, memory, emotions – from fear to compassion. This view of the Kingdom of Flora has forced researchers around the world in new ways to discover every part of their life, and now experts are wondering if the plants are not quite different from us, maybe they can talk?

The honour of this discovery took a group of British and Australian scientists, the head of which was made by Monica Gagliano from the University of Northern Australia in Perth. The researchers used in their experiments, ultrasensitive sensors, which are usually used to study the acoustic characteristics of the antennas in insects. Individual scientists rather banal young instance of the normal corn.

The roots of plants along with the equipment was submerged in water and the laser vibrometer were fixed regularly recurring sound with a frequency of about 220 Hz. Scientists have put a lot of control experiments to be sure whether the sound comes from the roots and not something else in the liquid, and dispelled all doubts: the roots like talking. About what, may I ask? Of course, not about the rise in price of buckwheat and politics: the root of every scout that has overtaken their brethren, the pace of growth, sending signals to others about in which direction to move!
