Amazing transparent house on the Gulf coast
Located on the Gulf coast in the United States, this mansion belongs to art collector and his family. Being a sickly child and spent a lot of time isolated, he instructed the architects Krueck & Sexton Architects to design the project, which would be the most open and bright. Considering nature as a work of art, the client wanted to feel her presence, even being in the room.
The project is called Transparent House II. Given the curve of the shoreline, the house has an irregular shape and blends beautifully into the surroundings.
The glass façade let inside a large amount of sunlight, so the interior is laid out in such a way that all its elements have played up the bright rays, the feeling of open space.
A mixture of joinery, stone and stainless steel details contributes to the diversity adds complexity and brightness to the space. At the same time, the interior as a whole looks very subdued, giving the art the main focus.
