In the port Savelli came the eco-terminal

Until recently in port Seweli not enough seats for waiting and a temporary stay. All this caused discontent of the passengers and an inconvenience for the employees of the port. To solve the problem helped several "green" designers who proposed to build a new waiting hall with their hands.

 



Created the waiting room was from the cargo containers that use the sea container for transportation of various cargoes. Just create buildings left 29 containers, of which managed to create the center of the waiting and sojourn of a total area of 500 square meters. The building was supplied with all necessary communications: electricity, water, active ventilation and a WC.

 



Some of the rooms inside the complex of the containers were additionally insulated in order not to miss the sound. In the center of the complex was a huge hall, which can as at the station waiting to arrive. In the same hall was hung a Bulletin Board, which displays information about the ships staying in the port.

 



All the containers were painted white, and also passed a thorough process of disinfection. After the initial processing of the paint coated with a protective enamel. Despite the fact that almost all the building metal, there was established a system of fire safety. To create greater comfort in many of the walls were slotted Windows that perfectly fit into the overall design of the building.

 



I should add that the construction of cargo containers in recent years, gained immense popularity. Create them as temporary structures and buildings that will stand for decades. This simple building material has allowed to combine the availability, cheapness, and environmental friendliness.
