Rivalry in a love relationship makes you look at yourself differently

Jealousy is a powerful motivator, leading to real changes in human behavior and perception of themselves. The specialists found that people often see a lot of similarities with the object of passion. But with a rival in the struggle for the heart of the third, the situation is different, writes The Times of India.

Says Erica Slotter of Villanova University: "People change attitude in that case, if the opponent is more like the object of love. That is, there is no point in change if the partner is not interested in flirting another man."

But psychologists at the University of Stirling have proved that the hormones contained in birth control pills that make women jealous.

Dutch experts interviewed 275 women who said how much they trust their partners. Women have also told us that they feel at seeing their man flirting with another woman, and how they are concerned about the prospect that the partner will leave them for another woman. The participants evaluated their own attractiveness.

It turned out, jealousy is directly dependent on the dose of estrogen in pills. The higher the dose, the more suspicious the woman. Therefore, choosing a contraceptive, the fairer sex should take into account their impact on emotions. Among other side effects contraceptives, according to experts, the decline of sociability, the changing preferences in men and even boosting intelligence.
