Scientific studies have shown that many types of sunglasses not only do not provide adequate protection from exposure to UV radiation, but on the contrary increase it, causing pigmentation. The reason lies in the metal frame, which is often used to make even expensive and branded accessories.

What is the danger of a metal frame?
1. It heats up in the sun and warms up areas of skin under the rim.
2. If you apply sunscreen to your face, it can react with metals and cause an allergic reaction on your skin.
3. Under the influence of UV radiation, the skin becomes more sensitive. When the sun’s rays hit the shiny surface of the frame, they are reflected, due to which their destructive effect is enhanced. This can result in burns or pigmentation.
