Star battery on heteroelectrics


Russian scientists have invented a new alternative energy source – a star battery. The main elements of this device are a heteroelectric capacitor and a heteroelectric photocell, which gives significant advantages over solar cells of today.
A stellar battery can function in the absence of sunlight, trapping even infrared radiation! When converting visible light, the efficiency of the device is 54 percent, infrared radiation is 31 percent.

At the same time, in a stellar battery, the photocurrent is four times higher than in a solar one, and the mass per one watt is almost 1000 times less, which is quite important for reducing the cost of the battery in the case of its industrial release.
Other figures are also striking. The efficiency of a heteroelectric photocell is 90%! And this despite the fact that the efficiency of solar cells used in our time does not exceed 18 percent. This was made possible by the ability of the heteroelectric to combine electromagnetic waves of sunlight at the same frequency, which have different wavelengths, which occurs when they are absorbed. At the same time, the heteroelectric capacitor installed in the battery, which is an energy storage device, is quite compact - its volume is only 180 cubic centimeters, and its capacity is 0.11 Farads.

And it all began with the fact that at the very beginning of the XXI century, the employee of the NCEPI O. A. Zaimidoroga discovered during experiments that if the material into which nanoparticles of other several materials (the so-called seed) are introduced is influenced by an electromagnetic field, then the phenomenon of supercoherence occurs, which in turn leads to a change in the properties of this material. Taking into account the importance of this discovery, the NCEPI management has created a separate unit to further study and create a theoretical model of heteroelectrics, which will help create heteroelectrics with specified properties. This direction of research has received priority in the scientific activities of the center.

First, on the basis of heteroelectrics, different types of glasses with a record ability to refract light were created. They can solve various tasks in a person’s life, including protection from radiation and fires. Then, with the help of a heteroelectric, a new type of laser radiation was obtained. On its basis, a unique resonator-free nanolaser of increased compactness was created, which can serve in the development of electronic technology and physics. Finally, unique heteroelectric solar cells have found application in a star battery. In general, about thirty inventions were developed, some of which have no analogues.
