We are accustomed to the typical location of the cities. However, in Spain, in the province of Cadiz, there is a city called Setenil de Las Bodegas. In the past, this city was the SetenildelasBodegas enterprise, which specialized in the wine industry, which resulted in the present name of the city. In this place you can see amazing houses, painted in snow-white color. But not the most notable. Interesting and unusual is that this city is inside the rock. Buildings are placed directly in an artificially extended the rocks, and the outer wall was constructed manually. The town is washed by a river called the Rio Trejo.





In the old days this place was a fortified Moorish town. Under his control was the road to the Rio Trejo. On the territory of the modern city to have survived the castle, which was built in the 12th century, during the reign of the Almohads. N-the name of the city originated around the 15th century. At this time, almond and olive groves Christian settlers added large plantation of vineyards. Today in Setenil de Las Bodegas is still thriving groves of olives and almonds, but the vineyards are gone. They were destroyed by insects in the 1860-ies.
