Ukrainian geothermal sources can produce annually up to 250 million kWh of electricity

It has long been known that earth's resource is geothermal heat can be used to ensure that the human demand for energy.

Based on the hot underground water can work of plants, which can add to the overall network of additional electricity and help to heat the house.

Geothermal heat refers to renewable energy sources. The use of such energy has a positive effect on environmentally friendly secondary energy, because during its production no emissions of hazardous gases.

The reserves of geothermal energy explored in the Carpathian regions of Ukraine and Central-Eastern areas. Thermal power plant, which can operate at this primary regenerative energy could produce annually up to 250 million kWh of electricity and up to 1.5 billion kW of heat.

Energy can be obtained from underground rocks that have a high temperature. It is necessary to pump the water in the cracks or in artificially created holes. The water will heat up and then you can use this heat to transfer to the surface for use. In the Donbass at depths of 3 km and below have explored rocks with a temperature of 150 C.

A big problem technology use of underground thermal waters is contain a high content of toxic salts (cadmium, lead, boron) and chemical compounds (ammonia, phenol). Not this water to discharge into open waters, but must return them to underground storage.
