Not all snails are equally peaceful
Meet Euglandina rosea, aka "snail-wolf", which is not averse to eat their own kind. This "wolf" from the world of snails, the size of which can reach 10 centimeters, moves much faster, its potential victims, tracking down their remaining on the substrate mucous secretions. Taken by surprise mollusks chances to survive are almost there, Euglandina rosea penetrates the shell of the victim and literally "tearing" it apart. The shell of the victim are also often swallowed. published
