The mystery of the shigir idol, a wooden sculpture, which is twice older than the Egyptian pyramids

 





This amazing archaeological discovery was made in January 1890 near the Urals city of Kirovohrad. A wooden idol covered with signs of the Mesolithic era and is one of the oldest evidence of creativity, which was typical of people in those ancient times. Historians believe that the age of the wooden statues – at least 9,500 years. That is, it is about twice older than the famous Egyptian pyramids.

The statue is 2.8 meters high, has seven persons. Shigir idol was able to "live" up to our times due to two circumstances:
