A bench of old chairs with your own hands
Following simple advice, You can make an original garden bench and give new life to old things.
Step one: Find two identical chairs Most suitable chairs that have a slight bend of the back. These are the backs we're gonna need.
Step two: Creating a seat Collect a frame as long as you see your bench and fasten each end with two screws (as shown in the figure above). Use reliable wood and long screws.
Step three: Creating a lower shelf Even after we have made the safest possible seating, the bench can still be too shaky and unreliable. In order to solve this problem, we create an additional element of strength - the lower shelf.
Step Four: Putty and Painting We fill all the holes in the wood with a special putty, give time to dry well, and then thoroughly skin all the surfaces, paint any suitable paint.
Step five: Make a plywood seat Cut off a piece of thick plywood of the required size
Cover the plywood with batten or foam (its size should be slightly larger than that of the plywood sheet) and tighten the seat with upholstery fabric.
When all the steps have been taken, it remains to decide whether to leave it as it is or add a few pillows, because our bench is ready!
P.S. And remember, just changing our consumption – together we change the world!
