Scientists decided to find the answer to the question: is it possible to control the discharge so that it moves along a given trajectory?
Professor Roberto Morandotti of the National Research Institute (Montreal, Canada) with the help of lasers taught electrical discharges to move in the right direction and even bypass obstacles.
