Vessels of dried flowers from Ignacio Canales Morales

Spanish artist Ignacio Canales Morales creates vessels of dried flowers, reminiscent of an inverted basket. This art originated in ancient Egypt when they discovered the sepulchre of the mother of Tutankhamen 3,000 years ago, filled with pressed flowers by the old method. But Morales method is slightly different from extant recipes. The flowers are put into large conical shapes, then the stems carefully intertwined between them without using any glue, moved a light lacquer to protect the sculpture from moisture. All settles in a month. The finished job is so tough that can stand without support and can even withstand light weight.published
