In Europe has created a high-speed analog Tor

Experts in the field of information security has developed a high-speed browser for anonymous Internet use. A team of Swiss and British developers say that they have found a way to eliminate the flaw, which affects today's popular anonymous network Tor – an increase in the number of users reduces the overall speed of the system.

The reason for the slow speed of many anonymous networks is to repeatedly encryption of transmitted data. European developers claim that they created the system, dubbed Hornet, theoretically can transmit data at speeds up to 93 gigabits per second.

Hornet is conceptually similar to The Onion Router (Tor), which enjoys great popularity among people wanting to hide their presence in the Network. Tor encrypts the data flowing to them in a random order over a transmission link of the network. However, the number of users increases the network load and slows down overall system performance.

A new method of data processing enabled the developers to solve the issue. In addition, they were able to minimize vulnerability to Hornet exposing anonymous users attacks.

It is noted that the Hornet has not yet been presented to the experts, which is crucial for this kind of research. Only then can we judge the completion of the project, said the developers, referenced by the BBC.published
