Created for Bosch electric go-kart
The project was implemented with the support of the International automobile Federation, the German Association of motorsports and the company Mach 1 Kart. Created mini-car has zero emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere and demonstrates good dynamics.
Applied powerplant with electric motors provides the power 20 kW (27 horsepower). A torque of 300 N·m, is transmitted to the rear axle.
Power is provided by 48-volt block Li-ion batteries. Accommodate an energy recovery system that allows to recharge the battery during braking.
It is argued that electric kart is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than five seconds. The maximum speed exceeds 130 km/h.
Plans for mass production of electric karts is not reported. But it is known that used in the machine technical solutions will find application in a traditional compact car. published
