An interesting project presented by IROJE Architects & Planners - private house "embedded" into the rock on the one hand, and rising on the slope on the other. He is also interested in its name - Hyunam, that live pronunciation in Russian is not exactly what the creators wanted to tell this house. Hyunam located in Gunwi County - the county in the province of Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea.





The client chose this location of the house, because I wanted to enjoy a new life in a new space. The plot of land is located at a sufficient distance from populated areas in the mountains where you can see except the mountains and the sky. The house faces west, allowing you to enjoy the sunsets every day. Along the driveway, passing through a dense spruce forest, made five small artificial gardens. After going through a very unusual entrance to the house, get into a deep embrace of the magnificent natural landscape. There is no architectural concept, there is only nature and harmony with it. On the roof we have arranged a small observation deck. Of course, such housing is not suitable for everyone - no food delivery, no taxis, no cheerful neighbors. However, the architects were able to exactly fulfill the wishes of the customer, who wanted only one thing - the contemplation of the beauty of nature and union with it.
