Computer programs can sound like music

Some researchers believe that Beethoven could hear the harmony of the universe and translate it into more understandable for us the language of music. But for the Finnish artist Ville Matias Heykkelya sound simple computer program.

The idea Heykkelya and his colleagues is: any computer program, even the most simple, contains an algorithm. Suffice it looped into an infinite loop, and will generate an amazing computer music.

As can be seen from the results of experiments that innovators are posted on YouTube, have a couple of arithmetic operations, and it turns out, though not a masterpiece, but still quite an interesting piece of music.

Later experimenters hope to create a program that will be able to pick their own formulas and finish building a musical number. The value of such music too early to say, but as they say, and so has the right to exist.
