The term "Third World country" is obsolete and politically incorrect
Dividing countries into "worlds" has appeared in world politics during the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union and her accompanying the arms race. Countries in alliance with the capitalist countries and NATO, considered the first world. Communist countries led by the Soviet Union, the Warsaw Pact-related, called the second country in the world.
And those countries that were not those of any other, is considered a country of the third world. They often act as "arena" to demonstrate the countries of the two other groups of its military power.
Over time, the concept of "Third World country" has become synonymous with under-developed and poor countries. At the present time in world politics the use of this term is considered incorrect: incorrect and rude.
