When a plane crash lifejacket should not be opened in the cabin of the aircraft, or you can die

If you frequently travel by plane, you probably remember that safety instructions are always airliner crew warned passengers that they are not inflated lifejacket before exiting the aircraft. This requirement is based on the results of the investigation of several air crashes, one of which is the incident with Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961.

November 23, 1996, the year Boeing 767 made a flight from Addis Ababa to Nairobi. On board appeared Ethiopians, who decided to steal a plane and go to Australia to obtain political asylum there. However, the amount of fuel in the tanks were not designed for such a radical change of course, and the airliner crashed into the Indian Ocean.

125 of the 175-year-passengers on board were killed, as many of them have inflated their lifejackets in the cabin, and when the plane began to sink quickly, arriving in the interior did not give water to people in the air-filled vests dive to escape through an emergency exit. If most of the passengers comply with the requirements of security, many victims probably could have been avoided.
