The aircraft collided with geese and fell into the river

In the state of New York in the Hudson River plane crashed American Airlines US Airways A320. On board the ship were 148 people and 6 crew members. The plane was flight from New York to North Carolina g.Sharlott.
In New York Hospital with minor injuries or hypothermia were taken 78 passengers. No casualties. Commander of the crew managed to land the plane in extremely difficult conditions, was pilot Chesley Selinberger. In US Airways he worked since 1980.
According to preliminary reports, the plane was denied both engines - each hit a bird. Apparently, the aircraft collided with a flock of birds.
The pilot managed to warn passengers about the emergency situation, many had to wear life jackets.
