Not so long ago we were talking about the Japanese island of cats, so here is something similar exists in Russia. Not only on the island, and lives in the suburbs of Barnaul whole colony of predominantly red cats.
Its origin is from the ginger family cat named grandmother who brought children from the street to the house of a farmer in 2003. The hosts jokingly called this brood Koshlyandiey. Cat gang perfectly protects the farm from rats.
