Buddhist monks attacking the mosque
At least three people were killed and over 80 were injured in the riots perpetrated by radical Sinhalese Buddhist monks in two cities in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka Police on Monday introduced a curfew in the cities of Aluthgama and Beruwala after radical monks defeated mosques and homes of local Muslims, according to Aljazeera.
"Not less than 9 shops and 40 homes were destroyed in Aluthgame [Buddhists] also been attacked three mosque", - the president of the Muslim Council of Sri Lanka Ahmad Hilmi.
