Infrared Iceland
The beauty of the Icelandic nature attracted and attracts many photographers who have made millions of stunning images. But, as often happens with popular views, these pictures are very similar to each other - it's hard to find new or unexpected angle landscape to capture the imagination of discerning audience.
British photographer Andy Lee decided to try a new way to present the beauty and almost mystical atmosphere of Icelandic nature, using an infrared lens.
This lens is able to "capture" the infrared rays. Special lenses that are typically used in combination with special light filters had a rather unusual effect, eliminating some visible light wavelength, increasing light and other light waves adding those lengths that unarmed human eye can not see. As a result of the natural features look like painted, ethereal, light, weak light unusually distant sun.
