Journalist and broadcaster David Gillanders Rasmus Paulsen visited Ukraine in February-March 2010, and made a report about Ukrainian children living on the streets. They spent 2 weeks in Odessa, among a small group of abandoned children.
A small group of 7 children living in the basement of the apartment complex. Access to housing is available only through the vent. They were able to connect to the electrical panel that would get hold of lighting, and electric heat. To warm up, they sleep on the hot water pipe. All seven children born to HIV-infected.
