There was a time when the shorts ... well ... well the shorts were short, long hair, carefree days, socks were high, and the "ollie" was only a dream (before this trick was just a few years). It was a time when it was just beginning ... Everything was new





That was in 1975. Photographer Hugh Holland learned about the guys who ride on the boards and perform some impossible stunts in an empty pool. He soon made friends with the boys from Santa Monica and Venice (including the legendary Z-Boys). He begins to travel with them from one event to another, and it all documented on film.
