While domestic enthusiasts put world records through extreme overclocking using liquid nitrogen, and their foreign counterparts are engaged in assembling the "home" of supercomputers. Recently, the network appeared photos brainchild of MIT graduate student Nicolas Pinto (Nicolas Pinto), who, along with friends David Cox (David Cox) and James DiKardo (James DiCarlo) built a computer with 16 GPUs.

To do this, Nicholas took 8 video card GeForce 9800GX2, which for experiments courtesy of NVIDIA. As seen in the photo, to cool the entire system to do a pair of fans has failed. The development of this "monster" is part of a research project, which now employs a team of Mr. Pinto. We can only guess what the real performance of this supercomputer. It is very likely that it is fully in line with its value.
