Millions of jellyfish in a lake
On the island of Palau (Palau) Quiet Ocean in a lake. A lake is alive and well 10 million jellyfish. Since the predators in the lake not, jellyfish live in peace and reproduce in large quantities.

This natural phenomenon formed hundreds of years ago, when the lake is still connected to the ocean. Then jellyfish and swam in it, and when the water level fell, they remained in this rich algae pond and began to multiply.
Because the enemies of jellyfish in the lake at the left, jellyfish relaxed and lost their toxic properties. So now people can safely swim in the lake next to the jellyfish, with absolutely no risk of being stung. Levantovsky Vlad (Vlad Levantovsky), a programmer from Boston (USA), described the lake as a "jellyfish soup". With his wife and daughter, he went there and took photos of the underwater camera.
TMemo, get on the lake is not so easy, because, first, the island of Palau is quite a distance - 500 miles east of the Philippines and 2,000 miles south of Tokyo, and secondly, the lake is protected and to get to it would first have to obtain permission from the government of the island.
Natives called Palau Jellyfish Lake Ongeim'l Tketau. It is one of 70 such lakes with salt water on the islands. All jellyfish in it come from the same species of spotted jellyfish.
