Colorfully illustrated 34-page booklet "On the law of the children: the Criminal Code," published Petersburg Scientific and Practical Institute of Psychology of Tolerance (SPbNPIPT).
The newspaper recognizable fairy-tale characters commit offenses, and other characters are punished for it. All this is accompanied by folk proverbs and extracts from the Criminal Code of Russia.
Total illustrated 15 articles of the Code, "Murder", "beating", "slander", "theft", "Robbery", "false report about an act of terrorism", etc.
The brochure was published, edited by director Dmitry SPbNPIPT Rytov. "We thought, in an accessible form to convey to teenagers provisions of the Russian legislation", - he explains. The idea was born in collaboration with staff of the Department of Social Psychology of SPSU.
According to Dmitry Rytov currently Education Committee is considering the possibility of using the brochure as a visual aid to school civics lessons, which take place in grades 5-7.
