Amazing images of the solar corona

Photographer Miroslav Drakmiller got unique combined images of the solar corona.
Below are a few of these spectacular images of the corona, the external magnetic field of the sun, which is in the form of a shell of super-hot gas. It is hard to imagine a temperature of about 2000000 as a whole, and much more difficult to see it because of the unbearable brightness. However eclipse chasers Miloslav Drakmiller got great shots that he took in the Marshall Islands in July 2009.
