And then the rains cause unusual phenomenon: fresh water collected in depressions between sand dunes, and as a result the whole desert studded with turquoise lagoons, which are more affluent in the period from July to September.



What is also surprising is found there are many species of fish, despite the almost complete drying lagoons in the dry season. Birds carry the eggs of these fish out of the sea.
