Yesterday afternoon in the center of Tbilisi, the opposition, led by Nino Burjanadze met at the next meeting. The demonstrators, as usual, demanded the resignation of the president and intended to stay in the square to celebrate the Independence Day of Georgia here - on 26 May. However, the rally was allowed only for one day, the 25th, and in 0015 went to the area police, armed with water cannons, guns with rubber bullets and tear gas. After opposition leaders refused to leave the place of the meeting, protesters began very hard to displace from the square in front of parliament.
