At my desk lamp burned fluorescent lamp. I do it when removing damaged and "handed over for recycling", that mercury vapor is not filled my room.
Then, instead of buying a new lamp and replace I bought LED strips - 1 meter, power supply 15 watts and tumblerochek 3 position.
Conjured with a soldering iron over the body of his lamp LED night light received from the three levels of brightness. Power consumption is less than 5 watts. A light gives as much as the old 18-watt bulb.
