The system of high-speed buses (BRT Bus rapid transit) is implemented in many countries. Usually it is called Metrobus. In Guatemala, this system also has called Transmetro. BRT is often used as an alternative to high-speed tram. They are certainly not as good as the trams, but for lack of a better descend and buses.
