The compartment 3 is constantly burning "Lamp" - specially designed portable burners, allow you to instantly ignite the torch of the reserve in case of any force majeure.



Another three burners were in reserve. In addition, the torch compartment installed gas cylinders feeding the alternate fire and extinguishing agents.



The cabin was equipped with two sofas, a table with swivel chair, a small wardrobe, a refrigerator and air conditioning. There were places for co-driver and an observer of the fire. Two cars escort the Olympic flame RAF-2907 follow up to the border of the USSR, and later cars from Moscow ran in different directions - to Kiev, Minsk and Tallinn, ie city, which hosted the Olympic competition.
