Confectioner faces a year in prison

What you read may seem like a bad joke, but it's a fact. In the court of Denver, capital of Colorado, began the trial in which the defendant is the owner of the bakery-confectionery Masterpiece Cakeshop Jack Phillips.

This trouble has happened to him since the summer of 2012 in his shop looked 33-year-old Charlie and Craig 28-year-old David Mullins, who had just got married and decided to celebrate the wedding. Learning about why they needed a cake baker refused to carry out the order, because it believes that all sodomites and those who assist them, will burn in hell.

After learning about the incident, the American Civil Liberties Association is very excited and made Phillips prosecution for alleged discrimination. In this case the protection that such an approach violates the fundamental rights of Jack on the freedom of religious belief and constituted an interference with his private business, LGBT activists categorically rejected - they insist on the strictest punishment.

And this is not an isolated case - is now considered a similar case in court in Washington, where a local florist is accused of refusing to serve gay wedding.
