Israel has created an alternative to oil ... water and carbon dioxide.
At the same time, scientists say that the process of production of "green fuel" even less oil production and distillation. Moreover, not only the production but also the massive use of positive impact on the global environment.
In fact, early in the research by the University of Ben-Gurion set ourselves the task is not easy to find a replacement to run low carbon energy on the planet. It was the first day of the development of the "hi-tech" fuel actually able to fix the situation with climate change and other troubles that mankind has created itself using those same hydrocarbons. Also, initially it was laid and the idea to make a new version of the universal energy carrier and most cheaper.
Perhaps that is why the scientists took advantage of the most common elements on Earth - carbon dioxide and hydrogen. Their noble undertaking immediately supported "Israel's strategic fund alternative energy." Thanks to generous funding of the project experts were able to relatively quickly develop unique nanomaterials that act as catalysts in the production process.
In a nutshell, this technology is as follows: the hydrogen extracted from water, which is then mixed with the carbon dioxide produced out of thin air - carbon dioxide in various forms, we "made" for billions of years to come. The mixture is then placed in a special reactor and comes in solid contained in it nanocatalyst. But the output is "energy-" organic liquid and gas.
Head of the research work in this field - Professor Ben-Gurion University of the Negev Moti Hershkowitz, proudly states: "We can now be used to produce competitive fuel resources that do not require any cost to give outlet high-quality product!ยป
Indeed, the Israelis clearly have something to be proud of. Made of fuel not only can serve immediately instead of oil to refineries. It can be right there and produce, which eliminates the need to extract raw materials and pump it to the thousands of kilometers away, as is happening now.
Well, and the resulting product has already been successfully tested on cars with gas and diesel engines, and even airplanes - in comparison with primitive biofuels, hastily invented today "know-how" is not. New achievement of scientific thought can be easily cleaned of contaminants (which, by the way, and so almost no), that is characteristic of engine damage, by definition, does not cause.
Finally, it remains only to say that Ben-Gurion University of the Negev has already sent all the necessary documents to obtain the corresponding patents and industrial scale development of Israeli experts to be deployed in about five years.
