Here is a piece of the sky made by the Hubble telescope and processed with data collected over 10 years.
It depicts about 10 thousand. Galaxies, and the place in the sky is chosen so that would be the shot hit a few stars.

This piece of heaven at the arrow is only 1/13, 000, 000 of the total area of the sky (for comparison is next to the moon). This includes part of the sky 800 shots at a 20-minute exposure of each fragment. For images of the entire sky with a sensitivity of Hubble it would take millions of years.
